Street & Parks Facility Project

In 2022, the Village of Kimberly contracted with SEH to complete a facility analysis of the Street and Parks Department building located at 426 W. Kimberly Avenue.  The results of this study indicated that the current building has exceeded it’s useful life. Significant repairs would be needed to maintain the building and bring the structure into code compliance.  As a result, the village board voted in favor of designing and implementing a new facility.

In 2023, SEH was selected as the architectural firm for the design and construction management of a new Street and Parks Department Facility. Village staff, in coordination with SEH have been collaborating to design a new facility to be constructed within the same campus as the current building. 


 The initial building design was presented in a public meeting of the Village board in August, 2023. That presentation is located here. Updates concerning project timeline and implementation will be posted to this page as they are known.

Street and Parks customer service operations will be relocating temporarily to the Municipal Complex at 515 W. Kimberly Avenue as of 12/4/23. Demolition and construction of the new facility is scheduled to begin in early 2024 with an estimated completion timeline of Summer 2025.  Administrative staff can still be contacted via email at or by calling 920-788-7507.
