Rivers Edge Subdivision

Riverfront Developments

Several luxury apartment units are under construction as you travel along Papermill Run from the west side to the east side!  The Current of the Fox – Kimberly includes the Ebb, Flow, and Oasis structures.  For further information on the units and overall apartment development contact Midwest Expansion https://thecurrentofkimberly.com/ or 920-434-7707. 

Midwest Expansion will also be constructing a restaurant located just north of the Main Street cul-de-sac.  This restaurant will offer riverfront dining with views of the Fox.  The Village is working together with the Developer to create a public scenic overlook between the restaurant and the dam.  The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation awarded the Village $250,000 in June of 2019 for the construction of the overlook feature!  Concepts are currently being designed and construction is anticipated to begin in 2021.  Up to date news from Midwest Expansion concerning The Current of the Fox Developments can be located here.

Blue at the Trail

Blue at the Trail is the final segment in Kimberly’s ongoing New Page paper mill redevelopment. Blue at the Trail is envisioned as a place to call home, a place to live, to play, of relaxation and knowing your neighbors. Residents of Blue at the Trail together will own 2,100’+ feet of Fox River frontage and 11+ acres of greenspace offering walking paths, play & ball court areas, relaxing covered retreats, a resident-only dog run and more. This presentation showcases a digital copy of a “History of the Cedars” presentation including all photos, stats, and projections for the future of the Kimberly Mill Site Redevelopment.  As the site develops further the presentation will be added to as a complete history of the site.

Coming in 2024

The Village is excited to share two new developments coming in 2024.  Festival Foods is developing the “Old Shopko” building into a grocery store and business suites. The Village is also excited to share updates on the “Blue at the Trails” development. Check out the planning documents approved by the village board at the 2/27/23 meeting of the board.
