ELECTRONIC RECYCLING

ELECTRONIC RECYCLING LAW BECOMES MANDATORY SEPTEMBER 1, 2010

What this means to a Village resident:

As of September 1, 2010 the State of Wisconsin has banned all electronic equipment from County, State and private landfills.

The Village of Kimberly will no longer pick up any televisions, computer monitors (both CRT and flat screens), desk top and laptop computers, desktop printers, fax machines, computer keyboards, mice, speakers, DVD players, VCRs and digital video recorders, cell phones and phones with video displays.

Outagamie County Department of Solid Waste
E-Waste will accept these items for a fee. The fees are:


Monitors and Televisions                       $  5.00 each
Computers, printers & fax machines    $  5.00 each
DVD & VCR players                                 $  5.00 each
Cell Phones                                              Free
