Nominations for the 2008 Community Award in Recognition of Excellence (CARE AWARDS) are now being accepted.  This award “recognizes individuals who have contributed to the betterment of our community”.

Nominees should demonstrate each of the following criteria:

1. The nominee must live, work, perform service or attend school in the Kimberly School District
2. The nominee performs special acts of kindness or concern
3. The nominee displays extra dedication above and beyond expectations
4. The nominee strives to improve the quality of life in the Kimberly School Area District

Care Awards are not intended to:

1. Replace or circumvent existing recognition or awards
2. Recognize an individual for contributions, for which he/she has already been recognized

CARE nomination forms are listed below along with a listing of past recipients.

All Care Award recipients will have $ 100.00 donated to an organization or program of their choice by the Positive Youth Development Foundation of the Kimberly School District.
 
The deadline for nominations is March 20, 2008. 

The 2008 CARE Awards ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 27, 2008 at 12:00 noon in the Kimberly High School Auditorium.
